7 Steps to resolve Epson Printer is Offline on MAC

About a week before, I couldn’t print or scan anything to my Epson printer with Mac PC. Whenever I tried to use my printer, my Mac would display the error “Epson printer indicates it is offline.” After creating a couple of changes to the printer community and Mac computer settings, I was able to get my Epson printer back online.

I am sharing these techniques. If anyone of you is dealing with this Epson printer offline problem on Mac. Please use them on your own printer and Mac computer to reconnect to internet.

Why can my Mac keep mentioning that my Epson printer is offline?

Usually Mac users face the problem of “Epson printer offline states” due to some causes:

· Communication error.

· Epson Driver Problem.

· The printer is in poor (sleep) mode.

· The Mac gives control to the wrong printer.

· The Mac firewall has limited the printer for security reasons.

How can I connect Epson printer online on Mac?

Once we understand the common causes of this offline problem, should you consider fixing Epson printer offline Mac problem?

1- Keep the Printer Busy -

Before printing anything with the Epson machine, let’s make sure your printer is not idle or idle. Typically after the printer is in idle or sleep mode. You will find the amber power light on the printer in that scenario you have to press the power button which makes it more active. When your printer is busy, you may see a blue or green power light on it.

2- Cancel Print Jobs and Restart the Machine -

· Double-click the printer icon down on the taskbar.

· Cancel the print job by simply pressing the accessible X icon next to the project.

· Now turn off the printer, the computer, and the router afterwards.

· Restart them and then restart the printer.

3 — Examine Link Configurations -

When the Epson printer is still busy but nevertheless reveals that it is offline on the Mac computer keyboard. Check the system settings on the printer and the computer. However, you are accessing the printer via USB, skip this step and go to step 4.

5- Remove and Re-add the Printer

· Let’s start machine preference on Apple Mac.

· Press the scan and print button

· Choose the property of the printer and press the icon to access the printer and then press the Delete button.

· Now choose other things and delete that too.

· Press the icon to add the Epson printer.

· Choose the printer from the table and click the Add button available at the bottom.

6- Install Epson Driver on Mac Book-

Like Windows, a Mac Book also needs the driver to run any hardware. So in the event that you have not installed the correct driver for your Epson printer, the Mac Book will not understand your printer and will reveal the offline error to you.

7- Check the Security Settings

When you have checked all the settings but you cannot recover your Epson printer on Mac. Check your antivirus and firewall settings. The firewall is probably blocking communication. That is why you have so many mistakes.
